He will be discussing the fourth book in the series, RETURN TO UMBRIA.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Rick Montoya is an amateur sleuth and professional translator living in Italy. In the fourth book of the series, Rick finishes his translation work in the picturesque hill town of Bassano del Grappa, north west of Venice, and decides to take a few days off to explore. But in addition to history and culture, he finds the shadowy world of stolen art, and murder.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
David Wagner is a retired foreign service officer who during his career enjoyed three assignment in Italy, first in Milan and twice in Rome, for a total of nine years. It was during those years in Italy that he gained a love of all things Italian, which is reflected in his novels. When not in Italy he lived in South America (Brazil, Ecuador and Uruguay) as well as the ultimate hardship post, Washington, DC. On retirement he and his wife moved to New Mexico, where he started a tourism service called Italia Roadrunners, preparing self-guided day trips for Tuscany and Umbria. From that he began to try his hand at writing novels, specifically mysteries, of which he is a big fan. The eventual result was the creation of Rick Montoya and Cold Tuscan Stone.
