Charles and Caroline Todd - Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009
Coffee & Crime breakfast, starting at 10 am
Charles & Caroline Todd, the mother and son team behind the Ian Rutledge series will be at MLB on Saturday, January 17, 2009 for a Coffee & Crime author breakfast. They'll be here with the latest in the series, A Matter of Justice.
This very unusual series begins with A Test of Wills, which introduces the character of Inspector Ian Rutledge who returns from service in the First World War, still shell shocked, to resume his job at Scotland Yard. The Todd's do a marvelous job of recreating the setting of typical Golden Age mystery while giving it a darker twist that reflects the reality of the aftermath of the Great War.
We invite you to join us for a Coffee & Crime author breakfast to learn more about the background to this fine series as well as the unique collaborative effort of its two authors.
The Coffee & Crime breakfast begins at 10 am and includes a continental breakfast along with talk and signing by the authors. Cost is $5 and reservations are necessary.
You can purchase tickets online. For multiple ticket purchases you can adjust the quantity in the shopping cart before you check out.
