Mary Wings makes the Lesbian and Gay Film Festival the centerpiece of her latest Emma Victor novel, She Came to the Castro. Emma keeps trying to get to the Festival but work, in the form of dealing with a blackmailer, just keeps getting in the way. The Festival, and the marvelous Castro theater, are part of the action in a plot concerning a tightly contested Mayoral campaign. Highly entertaining.
