Summer reading list?

Our Staff Picks for June will give you a good place to start on a list of books for the summer.

Craig Johnson, June 7

The talented and entertaining Craig Johnson will be our guest, for the second time, on Tuesday, June 7 at 7 pm. Craig is the Wyoming-based author of a suspenseful and humorous series featuring sheriff Walt Longmire of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Craig will be here with Hell Is Empty, the seventh book in the series.

Craig not only writes a mean book but is an entertaining storyteller as well and his last event here was a sell-out dinner which brought him many new fans. We're looking forward to a repeat performance this year for his talk and signing.

Please join us if you can.

Jackie Richards, June 5

On Sunday, June 5 at 2 pm we'll be hosting a publication party for Washington DC writer Jackie Richards for The Pinnacle Seven, her debut novel, a Washington thriller.

Please stop by if you can.

Update on ebooks

After receiving hundreds of responses to our ebook survey and after many conversations both in person and via email with customers we've concluded that we simply must be in the ebook business.

We anticipate being able to sell you ebooks probably beginning sometime in June.

We have further details of the survey as well as background information on various ebook alternatives on the website.

Our thanks to the many customers who took the time to write to us about ebooks.

New Arrivals

New Arrivals are full of June books with even more expected next week. You'll find new titles by David Rosenfelt, James Patterson, Thomas H. Cook, Dorothy Howell, Clive Cussler and many others.
