We're very pleased to have Sara Paretsky back at MLB for a talk and signing on Saturday, September 11 at 1 pm. To accomodate the expected turnout we're holding the event at the Oakmont Carnegie Library. Tickets are $5 and we'll have all of Sara's books, including the new one Body Work, for sale at the event.
We're expecting quite a turnout so avoid disappointment--don't delay in getting your tickets.
If you can't make it to the event, we're still happy to get you a signed book, personalized if you want. Just pre-order now and we'll ship after Sept. 11.
We're so happy that Jennifer Crusie will be back at MLB on Friday, September 24 at 7 pm. She'll be talking about and signing her hilarious new novel Maybe This Time. Her first book written without a collaborator in six years the new one is a return to the funny, romantic and sweet novels that first endeared us to Jenny. Better yet, this one has a few ghosts to spice up the mix.

The British invasion continues with several New British titles including:
A second book in Aly Monroe's unique tale of British secret agent Peter Cotton. In Washington Shadow its 1945 and Peter has been sent to Washington to accompany John Maynard Keynes who is there to beg for a loan from the US to keep the bankrupt British government afloat.
Amateur archaelogist and full-time cop Wesley Peterson is back in The Flesh Tailor by Kate Ellis, fourteenth in this series.
Another long-lasting series sees the 26th in paperback with The Bishop Must Die by Michael Jecks.
