If you're planning on coming to the Diane Mott Davidson event on Sunday, May 17 at 2 pm you might be thinking about a delciious brunch beforehand. We've got the perfect choice right here in Oakmont at Mirabelle Restaurant. They have recently started a Sunday brunch which begins at 10 am. They have a wide assortment of tasty dishes ranging from Cheese Souffle to Eggs Benedict and Blueberry Pancakes. You'll find their complete menu on their website.

Michael Connelly and George Pelecanos

We're pleased to announce that two of the finest crime novelists around will be at Mystery Lovers Bookshop on May 31. Please join us for a unique event with Michael Connelly and George Pelecanos, each with a new book.

We originally announced this event as a 2 pm talk and signing at the Oakmont Carnegie Library. That event will still take place but it is sold out. If you have already purchased tickets, please join us at 2 pm at the library.

We have arranged for the authors to do a signing at 4 pm at the book store to accomodate those fans who were not able to get into the library event.

If you would like a signed copy of either Michael Connelly's The Scarecrow or George Pelecanos's The Way Home, please order now and we'll ship you book right after the event on May 31.

Cara Black and Garry Disher - May 23

This summer we're going to once again feature our Foreign Mystery section with crime novels set in locales all around the world.

To kick off our foreign travel by books we've invited two writers of international mysteries for a Coffee & Crime Breakfast on Saturday, May 23 at 10 am. Join Cara Black, with books set in Paris, and Garry Disher, and Australian writer, for an interesting and informative morning.

Cost is $5 and reservtions are necessary.
