Festival of Mystery: next Monday

The Fourteenth Festival of Mystery is just around the corner, next Monday, May 4. The Festival will once again be held at the Greek Orthodox Church about 5 blocks from the store from 4 to 8:30 pm. We've got a terrific line-up of authors, many new to the Festival along with a number of old favorites.

Tickets are available in advance at $7 each, $8 at the door.

Mother's Day gift?

An avalanche of May books in the store

The New arrivals page shows a torrent of new books since last week. You'll find new titles by Peter Lovesey, Cynthia Riggs, James Patterson, Katherine Page Hall, Elizabeth George, Linda Greenlaw and a slew of others. Take a look at our New Arrivals page and you'll a dozen or more new titles received since last week.

A few reissues of previously out of print books have arrived that we wanted to make note of.

First off, Peter Lovesey's delightful Victorian series with Sergeant Cribb has a third book with Abracadaver. The two previous in the series are also available.

Second, R.T. Raichev's delightful British traditional mystery series is back starting with the first, The Hunt for Sonya Dufrette. The two previously published books are also available along with a new hardcover. Each book has a different country house setting with a continuing sleuth in Antonia Darcy and her husband Hugh Payne.
