Our increasingly weekly email - Special Shipping Policy Edition

Dear %%First Name%%,

Free Shipping on (almost) every order

We are excited to announce a new shipping policy for mysterylovers.com which will offer lower prices and better service for our customers.

Effective immediately, we are switching to Media Mail as the normal method of shipment for orders. There will be no shipping charges on any order of $10 or more. Media Mail, it used to be book rate, is a post office service that provides delivery in 2 to 8 days to most US addresses. While a little slower than UPS Ground it is vastly cheaper. Shipping by Media Mail for orders less than $10 will be $3.

With this new policy not only do we hope that you'll order more often but we'll be able to better fill your orders in several shipments without incurring additional shipping charges.

We will continue to offer UPS Ground as an alternative although the price will be raised to $8 and will apply to all orders regardless of amount.

You can find further details of our new policy at Free Shipping.

Important note for regular web customers

If you're placing a web order please note that Media Mail is now the default shipping method for US destinations. If you wish to use UPS Ground you must pick it as a shipping method.

Orders that are in process

If we have a previous order from you that is waiting for future publications or out of stock books we'll honor the original shipping if the order qualified for free UPS Ground. If it didn't, we'll ask if you'd prefer to have it shipped free via Media Mail or via UPS Ground for the prior $7.50 charge.
