Talk and Signing, starting at 2 pm
What a marvelous Sunday we have planned for you mystery fans on August 28 at 2 pm. Laura Lippman and Alafair Burke will join us for talk and signing of brand new books.
Laura Lippman will be here with a new standalone novel, The Most Dangerous Thing while Alafair Burke's newest novel of suspense is Long Gone.
 Laura is an award-winning author known to MLB readers since her debut book, Baltimore Blues, which marked her first apperance at MLB. Since then she has returned for nearly every subsequent book. Baltimore Blues was the first of ten books to feature Baltimore reporter turned PI Tess Monaghan. In addition, Laura has written five standalone books that have explored themes childhood traumas, buried secrets and the meaning of friendship.
 Alafair Burke may have gotten a boost early in her career from her association with her dad, writer James Lee Burke, but she's earned her current position with a series of successful and entertaining books featuring prosecutors and cops.
