Coffee & Crime author breakfast , starting at 10 am
Author Jane K. Cleland will return to MLB on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10 am for a Coffee & Crime author breakfast. She'll be talking about and signing her latest Antiques Roadshow mystery, Silent Auction.
This fifth book in the series by Agatha nominee Cleland brings us an irresistible new blend of coziness, crime, and collectibles featuring antiques dealer Josie Prescott. Set in the little coastal of Rocky Point, New Hampshire Josie arrives at the town's renovated lighthouse to conduct an antiques appraisal and is horrified to discover the bludgeoned body of her neighbor Zoe's beloved nephew, Frankie. The owners of the lighthouse are avid antiques collectors, and Josie soon begins to suspect that a scrimshaw tooth from their collection may be the key to solving the crime that has shaken Rocky Point, and broken her dear friend's heart.
Jane's extensive knowledge of antiques not only spices up her series of five mysteries but makes for an enjoyable and informative talk by the author.
The Coffee & Crime author breakfast begins at 10 am and includes continental breakfast along with talk and signing by the author. Cost is $5 and reservations are necessary.
You can purchase tickets online. For multiple ticket purchases you can adjust the quantity in the shopping cart before you check out.
