Joint Publication Party, starting at 7 pm
Pittsburgh authors Kathryn Miller Haines and Kathleen George will celebrate publication of thier new books with a party at MLB on Friday June 12 at 7 pm.
Local actor, playwright and now author Kathy Haines celebrates publication of the in her wonderful series with, Winter in June, the further adventures of wartime actress and PI Rosie Winter. This books finds Rosie on a USO tour performing in the Solomon Islands but her presence is really a front for her search for her MIA boyfriend.
 Pittsburgh author Kathleen George celebrates publication of her fourth Pittsburgh-set mystery, The Odds. The new book features the same ensemble of cops including rookie Colleen Greer and veteran John Potocki in a story that takes place mostly on the North Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh. It begins with a narcotics investigation that soon broadens to include the fate of four children left to fend for themselves.
