Talk and Signing , starting at 7 pm at the Oakmont Carnegie Library
 We're very pleased to announce that award-winning author T.C. Boyle will join us for a talk and signing of his twelfth novel, The Women, at the Oakmont Carnegie Library on Friday, February 13 at 7 pm.
Having tackled the lives of Dr. John Kellogg in The Road to Wellville and Alfred Kinsey in The Inner Circle; Boyle now turns his attention to an even more colorful figure: Frank Lloyd Wright. He tells this tempestuous tale through the lives of the four women who loved Wright: his first wife Kitty, his mistress Mamah Cheney, his second wife, Maud Noel and his third wife, who survived him, Olgivanna.
T.C. Boyle has a well deserved reputation not only as a fine writer but as an entertaining speaker and you won't want to miss this event.
Author talk will be held at the Oakmont Carnegie Library at Allegheny River Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue, three blocks from the store.
Tickets, at $31, include admission to the talk and signing plus a copy of the book, The Women. Tickets for a companion, which do not include a copy of the book, are $9 and must be purchased at the same time as the regular ticket.

Make a night of it
Since our T.C. Boyle event is on the Friday evening before Valentine's Day you might want to make a night of it and we've got just the place. The Mirabelle Restaurant has openened recently in Oakmont serving creative and seasonal meals. We've been there several times and its wonderful. Show your ticket to the T.C. Boyle event when you have dinner there that evening and you'll get 10% off your meal. Please call the restaurant at 412-517-8115 for reservations or more information.
