Coffee & Crime breakfast, starting at 10 am

We're very pleased that Michael Harvey will join us for a Coffee & Crime on Saturday, September 6 at 10 am.

Michael Harvey is the creator, writer, and executive producer of the television series Cold Case Files, as well as an Academy Award-nominee for his documentary Eyewitness, and is a former investigative reporter for CBS. Combine all that with his owning a bar in Chicago and you can clearly see the roots of his outstanding debut novel, The Chicago Way.

The Chicago Way introduced PI Michael Kelly who is minding his own business when his former Chicago PD partner calls him for help looking into a cold case. Said partner is soon murdered and Kelly is knee deep in danger from an old case with plenty of present-day danger.

in The Fifth Floor Kelly returns in a simple domestic violence case that lands him in the middle of a scandal with roots in the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.

The Coffee & Crime breakfast begins at 10 am and includes a continental breakfast along with talk and signing by the authosr. Cost is $5 and reservations are necessary.

You can purchase tickets online. For multiple ticket purchases you can adjust the quantity in the shopping cart before you check out.
