Talk and Signing , starting at 7 pm at the Oakmont Carnegie Library
Nancy Horan will give a talk and signing at the Oakmont Carnegie Library on Monday June 9 at 7 pm.
Nancy Horan hit the lists last year with a crafty blend of fact and fiction in Loving Frank. The scandal that rocked Oak Park, Illinois when Frank Lloyd Wright client’s wife Mamah Borthwick Cheney and the famous architect abandoned their families and the tragic ending of this affair, brings a real-life situation to the novel form.
As PW noted: “…this spirited novel brings Mamah the attention she deserves as an intellect and feminist.”
This is a rich novel for book groups to savor so Mystery Lovers Bookshop offers a free ticket with the purchase of the trade paperback edition that goes on sale in April. At the door tickets will be $5.00 or no charge with the purchase of Loving Frank. Author talk will be held at the Oakmont Carnegie Library at Allegheny River Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue, three blocks from the store.
Ticket to the Nancy Horan talk and signing, $5. Ticket purchase will give you $5 off purchase of Loving Frank.
