Tea and Talk , starting at 2 pm
Scots author Peter May will return to MLB on Sunday March 11, 2007 at 2 pm for tea and talk about the second of his China-set mysteries The Fourth Sacrifice as well as the first in his French-set series Extraordinary People .
The Fourth Sacrifice, this second in the China Thriller series, is another testament to Peter May's ability to write captivating characters that move stealthily through Beijing's vibrant and dangerous setting. It features American pathologist Margaret Campbell and Beijing detective Li Yan, introduced in The Firemaker.
Peter is also launching a breezy new series, The Enzo Files, with Extraordinary People. He introduces Enzo Macleod, a Scottish forensic bioligist living in Toulouse. He takes on a bet that using his scientific method he can deduce the fate of a high-ranking French diplomat who disappeared ten years earlier. Enzo follows a series of clues that take him from the sewers of Paris to Germany.
TheTea and Talk begins at 2 pm and includes a tea and light refreshments along with talk and signing by the author. Cost is $5 and reservations are necessary.
