2002 Anthony Award Winners and Nominees
Bouchercon, the World Mystery Convention, has announced its nominees & winners for the
2002 Anthony Awards, honoring the best first mystery novel, best novel, best
non-fiction, best short story, and best juvenile/young adult mystery published
in 2001.
The Anthony Awards, named for long-time mystery critic for NY Times Anthony
Boucher, were presented during Bouchercon at the Anthony Awards Banquet, October
2002. Bouchercon attendees made the nominations; the Anthonys were selected at the
convention by all convention attendees.
